General Informations

This ARK: Survival Evolved Server, which takes full advantage of all the possibilities from the Play as Dino! Mod was brought to life by the German Youtuber „TheBrawlyBeaters“ (short: TBBs). It aims to improve the dinosaur combat from the vanilla game. A Carnotaurus will never be better than an Allosaurus , because the stats of the dinosaurs scale through playtime, but exactly these aspects were succesfully changed for the better! All Dinosaurs, Marine and Flying Reptiles have been converted and balanced. So a Giganotosaurus is not able to win against a Rex every time, he has to play with its advantage state.

How is this possible, you might ask? TBBs and his team change the stats of every creature after long thinking and testing. That means that every creature is equally good, if you play them good and know what the animal is capable of; there is no Meta. In fact, EVERY creature is usable and possible to have fun with, which increases the replaybility substantually. You can’t just run up to your enemy and bite them, hoping you have the better stats. You have to use the advantages of every creature – size, agility, health points, damage, range and unique abilities. If you learn and master your animal, you have way better chances to survive. This server manages to make every dinosaur feel overpowered and garbage at the same time. The concept is: Everything is allmighty, which makes nothing allmighty.

Because Rex, Spino and Giga would be boring after a while, the server added mods like "Ultimasaurus“, "Monsters and More“, "ARK Additions“ and of course, the mascot of the server, the legendary Indo Raptor (and a lot more!).
In addition, you can participate in tourneys, where you fight against other players in a competition. They are also used as advertisements by TheBrawlyBeaters to let the server reach even more players. Of course the winners get a little in game reward.

Everyone in this world can join the server completely for free. Sadly, this means that TBBs has to finance the server on a loss. You can help the server with donations, which are completely voluntary. You can Support via Youtube, Patreon or PayPal. On Patreon you even get a few small bonuses for your money, which won't make the pvp any easier in the long term. Each euro/dollar means a lot. With enough donors we could largen the server capacity and/or make the ping smaller. We could even contact animators and modders or maybe even create our own mods. Building a community can make a dream come true.

1. 187, 123, 249, .. Now what's my Damage? Except humans every dinosaur takes an adjusted value of Damage relative to their size, agility, healthpoints, range, chances and so on. Due to this, expect a lot of learning curves and new interactions. The fun as well as the possible knowledge is endless.

2. You can backup your creatures by pressing Escape and the "Backup Current Dino" button. Then change your Dino and Spawn without any consequences! If you write "/help" in the chat, it will show you some helpful commands. Orbital drops waves are hard to beat, but killing corrupteds end in a lot of XP!


3. Every creature is good in its own way. Try leveling them to max. Lvl.123 or 87 by some. Which Dino will fit you the best? Lie down via "Ctrl+Z" and regain health and stamina in a quick time. Not every animal can do that though, but a passiv heal triggers after no fighting/attacking for 60secs.

4. Find out which Dino counters which. Try to understand mechanics and use of each Dinosaur, due to their individuality in damage and resistance, that's why shown numbers often differ! 50 kills make you rank-up! This happens up to six times. Coelacanths, Meganeuras and Corrupteds don't count as a kill tho.

5. T.Rex, Spino, Giga & Acro: they all do not only belong to the apex category, they all also get costumes! Press "M" to see your earnings. At Lvl.80 you can access Bossfights at the "Boss-Battles Spawnpoint" with ColorshiftCostumes! There you can also change and upgrade your basestats up to 2 Points!
